2024
After attending the JFN Conference representing a former board member, the Noga Agency was born on the roof of the Shalom and Relax Hotel, where, after a long fourteen-hour day, the following mission statement was born:
Noga is a boutique agency that connects marginalized communities to global resources to create concrete opportunities, true pluralism, prosperity, and social change.
Why Noga?
As a passionate thought leader with a deep understanding of non-profit institutions and strong market knowledge in the United States, Europe, and Israel, I have built a global network of corporate, foundation, and intellectual connections across industry sectors.
2021
By 2021, museum spaces worldwide were in crisis, and there was no real plan to restore them to their pre-pandemic state. Rachel Lithgow left the museum space and began to write about the importance of civil and shared society. Slowly, colleagues and friends and organizations began to reach out, asking her to consult on various projects.
2020
In the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic, the museum world turned virtual, and the importance of organizations supporting everyday citizens worldwide increased. Little support was given to niche NGOs and other institutions and foundations working toward making fundamental changes in education, poverty, and marginalized communities.
2018
By 2018, Noga Agency founder and president Rachel Lithgow had worked in the museum space for twenty-two years. Her last museum role was as Executive Vice President of ANU: The Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv, the largest museum in Israel. Her interest in civil and shared society grew as she created the foundation for the Tisch Center for Jewish Dialogue at the museum.
