This piece was written to support an exhibition that Noga Founder and president Rachel Lithgow co-curated at the National Museum of American Jewish History and the Center for Jewish History that went on to travel, most notably at the National WWI Museum, a Smithsonian affiliate, in Kansas City. It illustrates the importance of public/private partnerships in fundraising for cultural institutions.
